Status as of February 2017

Offices were reopened in Corner Brook, NL, on July 5, 2016; Brandon, MB, on October 21, 2016; Sydney, NS, on October 31, 2016; Kelowna, BC, on November 1, 2016; Saskatoon, SK, and Charlottetown, PE, on November 30, 2016; and Thunder Bay, ON, on January 26, 2017. Offices will also reopen in Windsor, ON, and Prince George, BC, by May 2017. A tenth office will open in Surrey, BC, in May 2017.

Chapter 5 > Enhancing Services for Veterans

To better support veterans where they live, Budget 2016 proposes to reopen and staff service offices in Charlottetown, Sydney, Corner Brook, Windsor, Thunder Bay, Saskatoon, Brandon, Prince George and Kelowna, open an additional office in Surrey, and expand outreach to veterans in the North by working with local partners.
